For better contact with our customer we will prepare special website to putting orders with possibility of tracking it realization and possible date of collection.

Third,
I think it is the most important and profitable for our company - "internet reverse auctions" for suppliers.
We buy a lot of standard ingredience like : dry sugar, liquid sugar, pectine, exotic fruits for which there are a lot of suppliers. We can organize such internet reverse auctions for potential deliverer. I think in this way we can get the best offer.
Of course it is possible only for standard ingredience, not for flavours, colours, and some thing like that.

Discussion

Today we had a discussion at work about our internet platform. There were so many ideas and I would like to share what we decided.
I don't know how can we implement this ideas but we will try.

First of all we decided that we should inform each other in group about shortage and overstock. In food industry shelf life is crucial so we order ingidience only for production or forecast from customer. But some times it is not possible to predict demand and in this case we can support from other factory in our group. For this reason we are planning to prepare database where we can put our shortages or overstock of ingredience. This database is calling Fruit Mass Ballance and every Supply Chain Manager in every factory in Europe will get this information.

Our Plans

Supply Chain Synchronization is fast becoming the most important way to develop higher levels of supply chain competitive advantage. To achieve the highest level of supply chain synchronization benefit we are planning establish special internet platform to connect our branches, our custommer and suppliers.
Now we have a brain storm what it should include, what is the most important for us, for customer, for suppliers.
I have some idea but I will be grateful if someone has experience in this area and give me some advice.

It is silly but when I decided to start writing about SCH I looked to Wikipedia and I was surprised. Why? I didin't know this whole definition.










A supply chain, logistics network, or supply network is a coordinated system of organizations, people, activities, information and resources involved in moving a product or service in physical or virtual manner from supplier to customer. The entities of a supply chain typically consist of manufacturers, service providers, distributors, sales channels (e.g. retail, ecommerce) and consumers (end customers). Supply chain activities (aka value chains or life cycle processes) transform raw materials and components into a finished product that is delivered to the end customer. There are a variety of supply chain models, which address both the upstream and downstream sides.
The primary objective of supply chain management is to fulfill customer demands through the most efficient use of resources, including distribution capacity, inventory and labour.
